Project Overview
Why Off-the-Shelf Products Couldn't Meet the Brief
The client needed more than a standard head unit. Every layer — from screen ratio to vehicle data protocol — required purpose-built engineering:
Conventional 7–10-inch head units couldn't fit the wide dashboard opening or deliver the dual-view layout the client envisioned. A custom 11.5-inch ultra-wide IPS panel with a tailored bezel and mounting structure was required.
Generic platforms only expose basic vehicle data. This project required full customization of CAN bus parsing, real-time telemetry mapping, and split-screen display logic aligned with the client's existing vehicle architecture.
Off-the-shelf Android launchers and stock CarPlay interfaces couldn't reflect the client's premium brand. Custom UI themes, icon sets, boot animations, and multi-language support were essential differentiators.
Standard multimedia screens lack IP67 protection. For outdoor work vehicles and convertible applications, a custom sealed enclosure with industrial-grade potting was engineered from the ground up.
